Sitting right in the heart of studentville - it's the perfect pitstop for study breaks, date nights, crew meetups, or a cheeky âI deserve thisâ moment.
Bright orange on the outside (you literally canât miss us), and packed with good vibes on the inside. Out the back youâll find our huge outdoor area - comfy couches, big-energy hangs, and the kind of atmosphere that turns âone scoopâ into a whole evening.
Inside, our cosy booth zone is made for long chats, loud laughs, and shameless gelato taste-testing. Up the front, our street seating is perfect for people-watching and soaking up the Riccarton buzz.

Rollickin Gelato CafĂ©, 35 New Regent Street is the original Gelato Shop where our gelato-making kicked off. Itâs on Christchurchâs oldest, cutest street where the olâ trams cruise through. Go kid crazy at the Margaret Mahy Playground thatâs just a short hop, skip and a jump away.
We stay open late to satisfy your post dinner cravings. Think late night dessert party - funky tunes, gelato scoops, sweet bakes, desserts, espresso AND Rollickins famous âGerry Brownieâ.

Rollickin Gelato Café, 98 Cashel Street is the biggest of our two cafes and stays open late to satisfy your post dinner cravings.
During the day you can watch our team whip! Our clever chefs start before dawn every day to create, make, and whip up gelatos, sorbets, sweet baking, and desserts. Dessert enthusiasts, peer into the wonderland that is the Rollickin kitchen and watch these concoctions come to life.
Before you leave, donât forget to add your flavour creation idea to the chalk wall.
